Welcome to Thrive Dispensary in Annapolis
Annapolis is one of the oldest cities in the United States and is the state capital of Maryland. Founded by Lord Baltimore in 1649, it was named for his wife, Anne Arundel.
Annapolis is rich in American History. In colonial times, It was the cultural and intellectual center of the colonies and known as the “Athens of America.” The Treaty of Paris was signed there, ending the Revolutionary War. Annapolis’ thriving port also brought great wealth to the city, and many of the city’s stunning 18th-century mansions are still standing and open to the public.
While Annapolis’ historical sites are a major tourist draw, the city is also home to amazing beaches, a vibrant arts community, boating, sprawling green spaces, and pubs and restaurants where you can find the best crab cakes on earth.
Thrive Dispensary is honored to be a part of the next chapter of Annapolis’ history with quality cannabis products and customer service that would make Lord Baltimore proud. At Thrive, we’re leading a cannabis revolution to empower our customers to find balance, optimize wellness, and live their best lives.

Historic Annapolis is another local gem that refers to the restaurants, galleries, and shops in converted row houses on Main Street. Chick & Ruth’s is the go-to local experience for great food and the best service anywhere in town. The boutique Lilac Bijoux is another favorite. The historic area also includes most of downtown and the harbor, where you can visit the Hammond-Harwood House and the “must-see” Banneker-Douglass Museum.
The Banneker-Douglass Museum is Maryland’s official museum of African American heritage. Its purpose is to document and teach African American history and culture with exhibitions, programs, and projects that improve the understanding and appreciation of America’s cultural diversity. The museum is named after Benjamin Banneker and Frederick Douglass, who fought against slavery in the 19th century. At Thrive Dispensary, we honor that heritage with our commitment to cannabis brands that support equity and inclusion.
