Become A Delaware Medical Patient

Are you 65 or older and interested in medical cannabis?
Good news—Delaware now allows adults 65 and up to self-certify for a medical marijuana card, no doctor’s visit required.

Before applying to become a medical patient, make sure you meet the following qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older, or a pediatric patient with parental consent
  • You have a Physician Certification from an MD or DO licensed in Delaware (Read “Talking With Your Doctor”) OR be 65 years or older to self ceritfy.
  • A Delaware resident with proof of residency (DE Driver’s License or DE State ID)

Become A Medical Caregiver

If you’re homebound or need assistance, you can designate a caregiver to purchase the medication on your behalf. Caregivers must be approved by the State through an application process.
